In the previous study, we presented an acoustic sound that indicates the timing of the approaching motion of the robotic arm prior to the approaching motion, and examined the psychological resistance to the approaching motion and its effect on habituation. Since it was suggested that the acoustic presentation enabled prediction of the arm's movement, it is thought that the sound can direct the caregiver's attention toward the arm.
