In general, e-commerce websites have a system that recommends other products according to the products selected by the customer, and if the right products are recommended, customer satisfaction can be improved. If a similar service can be realised for course selection, it is expected to lead to the enrichment of university studies for individual students. The authors are researching a system that recommends courses according to the learning that students seek in the selection of such courses. Specifically, the authors aim to develop a system that recommends courses by combining a method based on the analysis of syllabus contents and a method using past course registration information.
