Division Multiplexing,TDM)と周波数分割多重化(Frequency Division Multiplexing,FDM)を組み合わせた新たな送信方式を提案し,制限する要因を緩和することで測位領域を拡張する.提案する送信方式では,各スピーカに独特な順序で異なる帯域のチャープ信号を送信させる.モバイルデバイスはこれらの信号をマイクロフォンで受信し受信時刻の検出を行う.測位計算には到来時間差を利用するTDoA(Time Difference of Arrival)方式を用いる.評価実験により本論文の実験環境(2.0m × paper describes a method for expanding the area of high-performance positioning for acoustic indoor localization using mobile devices. Acoustic-based systems have advantages in terms of accuracy and cost. However, the positioning area is limited because of the directivity of the microphone embedded in COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) mobile devices. Our system leverages a transmission scheme that combines time-division multiplexing (TDM) and frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) techniques to address the limitation. In the proposed approach, each speaker transmits different band chirps in a predefined sequence to mitigate multiple-access interference. A COTS device receives modulated signals via a built-in microphone. We exploit the received signals and estimate the position by calculating time difference of arrival (TDoA).
