Traditionally, person-trip survey data, collected at intervals of every ten years, has been utilized; however, it is challenging to keep pace with rapidly changing urban environments. In contrast, real-time pedestrian flow analysis using GPS data offers new possibilities, but specific methods for analysis and interpretation remain underdeveloped. In this study, we leverage publicly available pedestrian flow data from Kure City in Hiroshima Prefecture to elucidate the utilization of high-density pedestrian data.
