In this method, TDOA (Time-Difference-Of-Arrival) between microphones is estimated by an adaptive approximation of propagation delay characteristics. Because the approximation of propagation delay works only in the frequency band where speech power is dominant, multiple sources can be localized if the speech signal has sparsity. However, the estimation accuracy may degraded due to the presence of frequencies where multiple speech powers are superimposed or silence frequencies.
