FPGA 実装について報告する.自律移動ロボットのセンサ情報予測等への適用を想定しており,レザバーは大規模なものとなる.そのため重み情報は FPGA 外部の大容量メモリに格納することを前提に実装方式を設計する.CBM-RC ノードの変化の特性,及び,大規模レザバーの重み行列は一般的には疎行列になることを考慮し,重み行列の効率的な圧縮方法と FPGA での並列演算による効率的な実装方式を提案する.AMD(Xilinx)社の Alveo U50 FPGA 上に,ニューロン数 8000 以上の CBM-RC Boltzmann Machine Reservoir Computing (CBM-RC). The reservoir will be large-scale, as it is expected to be applied to sensor information prediction for autonomous mobile robots. Therefore, the method is designed with the premise that the weight information is stored in a large memory outside the FPGA. Considering both the characteristics of CBM-RC and the weight matrix of a large-scale reservoir is generally a sparse matrix, an efficient compression method for the weight matrix and a parallel processing system are developed.
