の故障診断において,診断分解能を向上させるために,レジスタ転送レベルにおける診断容易化設計手法が提案されている.レジスタ転送レベルにおいてコントローラがデータパスに供給する制御信号値にはドントケアが含まれている場合があり,診断容易性の向上のためにコントローラの各状態遷移における制御信号のドントケアに対して論理値を割当てる.レジスタ転送レベルにおいて,各状態遷移においてデータパス中のハードウェア要素ペアが識別可能であることが,診断分解能の向上に重要であると考えられている.本論文では,ハードウェア要素がレジスタ転送レベルにおける見積もり面積に基づいてゲートレベルの信号線数が決定されることに着目し,面積を重みとして付与したハードウェア要素ペア数が増大するように各状態遷移のドントケアに対して論理値を割当てる手法を提案する.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Design-for-diagnosability methods at register transfer level have been proposed to improve the diagnostic resolution in VLSI fault diagnosis. At register transfer level, the control signal values which controllers supplies to data-paths might be don't cares (Xs). Thus, logical values are assigned to the don't cares in control signal values on each state transition of controllers to improve the diagnostic resolution. We consider that to distinguish hardware element pairs in data-paths on each state transition is important to improve the diagnostic resolution. In this paper, we focus on the fact that the number of signal lines of a hardware element at the gate level is determined based on the estimated area of the hardware element at the register transfer level.
