• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 2023 年 5 月 4 日，バイデン政権は米国民の権利と安全を守る責任ある AI イノベーションを推進する新たな行動を発表した．これに前後して，バイデン政権下において米国では関連文書の公表が行われている．ホワイトハウス科学技術政策室の「AI 権利章典のためのブループリント」は，AI やその他の自動化システムの設計，開発，展開を導くための重要な枠組みとして公表されている．また，米国国立標準技術研究所（NIST）の「AI リスク管理フレームワーク」は，組織が AI システムによってもたらされるリスクを管理するために使用できる自主的なツールとして公表されている．バイデン政権は，AI に関しては，責任あるイノベーションを支援すると同時に，米国人の権利と安全を守るための適切なガードレールを確保する必要と明言している．直近でのバイデン政権下における AI に関する文書を概観し，米国の AI に関する政策動向を分析する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: On 4 May 2023, the Biden Administration announced new actions to promote responsible AI innovation that protects the rights and security of US citizens. This was preceded and followed by the publication of relevant documents in the US under the Biden Administration. The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy's Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights has been published as a key framework to guide the design, development and deployment of AI and other automated systems. The National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) 'AI Risk Management Framework' has also been published as a voluntary tool that organizations can use to manage the risks posed by AI systems. The Biden Administration has been clear about the need to support responsible innovation when it comes to AI, while at the same time ensuring that appropriate guardrails are in place to protect the rights and safety of Americans. This section provides an overview of documents on AI under the most recent Biden administration and analyses policy trends on AI in the United States.
