• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 小泉八雲の「茶碗の中」は，未完であるか否かの判断が分かれる物語である. この作品が未完なのか，あくまで未完という設定になっているだけなのかを計量的な観点から検討する．作品の単語数と文数，極性語の出現頻度の観点から検討を行ったところ，未完作品であることを示唆する結果となった．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Lafcadio Hearn's literary work "In a Cup of Tea" is divided over whether it is uncompleted or not. This study examines the work from a quantitative perspective to determine whether it is actually uncompleted or whether the author intended it to be uncompleted. Research on the number of words and sentences in the work and the frequency of polarized words revealed that the work has uncompleted work's features.
