社がクラウド上でシステムの障害耐久性を確認する試験として開始した技術である.一般的にシステム運用においては定型業務を行うオペレータからのエスカレーション先に,発生した障害を解析し対応を行うエンジニアが存在する.これらエンジニアは一般的にマニュアルや設計書によるトレーニングを受け,システムの障害対応を実施する.本研究では,このトレーニングの一部を GameDay engineering is a method started by Netflix, Inc. as a test to confirm the failure durability of systems in the cloud. Generally, in system operation, behind the operators who perform routine tasks, there are engineers who analyze and respond to failures that occur. These engineers generally receive training through manuals and design documents.
