JAPAN ID認証システムの提供している3種類の認証手段（WebAuthnベース生体認証，パスワード認証，Short Messaging Service認証）を対象にユーザビリティ評価を実施した．その結果，Bonneauらの提案した評価では，WebAuthnベース生体認証が優れていると評価できる項目が最も多いことを確認した．クラウドソーシングによるアンケート調査では，WebAuthnベース生体認証のSystem Usability Scaleのスコアが最も良いスコアとなった．システムログ解析による認証時間の調査では，平均値，中央値においてWebAuthnベース生体認証が最も短いという結果が得られた．","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"As a technology to replace password authentication, expectations for passwordless authentication are increasing. Passwordless biometric authentication based on Web Authentication (WebAuthn) standardized by W3C is becoming widespread. However, a method for evaluating usability after deploying passwordless biometric authentication has not yet been established. In this paper, we conducted usability surveys of three authentication methods (WebAuthn-based biometric authentication, password authentication, and short messaging service authentication) provided by Yahoo! JAPAN. As a result, we confirmed that WebAuthn-based biometric authentication has the most items that can be evaluated as “offers the benefit” in the evaluation metrics proposed by Bonneau et al. In the crowdsourcing questionnaire survey, WebAuthn-based biometric authentication scored the best on the System Usability Scale.
