Sakai LMS を 2013 年度から運用しており，COVID-19 感染症対策の中で，ほぼすべての授業のオンラインプラットホームとして利用されるまでに至った．その一方で，Sakai LMS は多様な機能を有するものの，学生からは課題の提出や締め切りなどの管理が効率的に行えないなどの使い勝手が悪い状況が生じた．これに対応するため，Sakai LMS の持つ REST API による連携機能を利用し，ブラウザのプラグイン技術を用いた Comfortable PandA および，サーバサイド技術を用いた PandAsh の開発が有志の学生によるプロジェクトとして行われた．本報告では，感染症対策下で，学生を中心として進められた 2 つの Sakai LMS Open Source Sakai LMS as the Learning Management System since FY2013, and it has grown as the online platform for almost all classes on campus through the most severe period of the COVID-19 infection control. On the other hand, students have experienced disadvantages such as inability to efficiently submit assignments and manage deadlines. To address these issues, two projects by volunteer students were launched to develop Comfortable PandA using browser plug-in technology and PandAsh using server-side technology, utilizing the REST APIs of Sakai LMS.
