A token based on the Web 3.0 concept can be used as a mechanism for consumers to recognize the GHG reductions resulting from their purchasing behavior and to return the value to businesses and other entities that practice environmental management. This paper proposes a model in which the tokens corresponding to GHG reductions are distributed along with low-carbon agricultural products to encourage environmentally conscious behavior of consumers through the tokens. The proposed model uses the tokens issued on the public blockchain, which facilitates the visualization and verification of consumers’ environmental behavior that is caused by the token circulation.
