This act is attracting attention as a "Right to Repair" law that requires manufacturers of digital devices to provide the same diagnostic and repair information to other independent repair businesses and consumers if they provide such information to certain repair businesses. However, the law also suffered a setback when it was signed by the governor, limiting the products covered by the law to those sold on the retail market. This report examines this law and analyzes its contents and underlying policies in order to contribute to future discussions of the Right to Repair.},
