• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 新たな技術を社会実装する場合，技術的な課題以外に，倫理的な課題や法的な課題，社会的な課題 (ELSI) が生じる場合がある．課題が生じた場合，事業を行う側に，技術に関する説明責任や公平性の担保などが求められる．本稿では，メディア技術の研究者が，ELSI に配慮して研究を推進するための「ELSI ハンドブック」の基本指針と解説内容を報告する．また，ELSI ハンドブックの内容がユーザーの意識と乖離することがないように，ユーザーのメディアの活用方法や意識を明らかにするための調査を行った．調査の概要と結果を報告する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Ethical issues, legal issues, and social issues (ELSI) may arise when we attempt to implement new technologies in society. When a problem arises, the business operator is required to take accountability for technology and ensure fairness. This paper reports on the basic guidelines and explanations of the "ELSI Handbook" for media technology researchers to promote their research in consideration of ELSI. In addition, in order to ensure that the content of the ELSI handbook does not deviate from the user's awareness, we conducted a survey to clarify the user's way of using media and their awareness. We report the survey summary and results.
