When a visible-light camera is used, detailed texture information can be obtained, but they are lost in adverse environments. On the other hand, when a far-infrared camera is used, it is robust to such environments, but texture information cannot be obtained. Thus, to take advantage of the merit of both cameras, we have proposed an environment-suitable camera selector involving BoF.
