This may be attributed to the widespread implementation of conventional personalized ad recommendation systems based on user ID and web browsing history, which typically exhibit insufficient accuracy and tend to display inappropriate advertisements. In this study, we prototyped a system designed to measure multimodal user information as basic research data for applications of multimodal information in advertising recommendation systems. In this study, we present an interim report on changes in the pupil size of users upon their viewing a displayed advertisement. We calculated the features of changes in pupil size and analyzed them using a Self-Organizing Map machine learning model.
