In this age of rapid technological development, where new products and services are created through the fusion of diverse technologies, it is impossible for a single company to develop all the necessary technologies. Therefore, collaborative creation with other organizations is indispensable. However, it has been pointed out that industry-academia collaboration in Japan is not sufficient, and some say that industry and academia have different interests in the field of software engineering. On the other hand, the actual situation of industry-academia collaboration in the software engineering in Japan is not clear. Therefore, the author attempted to study the transition of industry-academia collaboration by focusing on the technical reports of the SIGSE of the IPSJ. The study found the fact that the number of collaborative reports has not decreased, but the contents of the reports are more academic, the number of reports from industry has decreased, and the organizations with many reports have changed.
