• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行により，観光業の衰退が著しい．しかし，観光客は安全かつ充実した観光体験を望んでおり，地方は継続的に観光客に地方を訪れて欲しいと願っている．本研究では，秋田県由利本荘市を走る鳥海山ろく線の上下線の乗客数データを用いて，鉄道利用者の人流データ分析を行った．各駅ごとの降車数のデータは手に入らなかったため，乗客数データで欠損データを補完し，すべての駅の降車数を推計した．その推計値を用いて分析を行ったところ，鳥海山ろく線の始発駅から終着駅の間での移動が最も多く，途中駅の利用が少ないことがわかった．また，8 月および 10 月以降のハイシーズンに観光客が増加していた．これらを踏まえて本研究では，途中駅の乗降客数を増やすような周遊促進の案と，観光客が由利本荘市を 1 年中訪れるようにする施策を提案する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The tourism industry is in decline due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, there are still tourists' demands for safe and enjoyable tours. Therefore, local communities and members of the tourism industry hope that tourists will keep visiting. In this study, we analyzed the number of passengers on the Chokai-Sanroku Line, which runs through Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture. Through that, we obtained passenger flow data. During the analysis, we estimated the number of the passengers that got off from the boarding data, since it was not obtainable. By doing so, we were able to estimate the number of passengers getting off for all of the stations. As a result, the passenger flow data showed that most of the Chokai-Sanroku Line passengers only got on/got off at the starting point of the railway line, and there were not many passengers using the stations in between. Additionally, it showed that the number of tourists increases during the high season in August and after October. Based on these findings, in order to increase the number of passengers at the intermediate stations, this study proposes a tourism promotion plan. Furthermore, it proposes a plan which increases the number of tourists visiting Yurihonjo City all year round.
