ETC is Electronic Toll Collection system that allows drivers to pay tolls without stopping their vehicles at toll gates on expressways. Tolls are classified five categories by wireless communication with the ETC OBE. But there are some vehicles that illegally pass through the lane by replacing their ETC OBE. In this study, we are examining the vehicle classification by using video images obtained from cameras in the ETC lanes. Because our investigation is independent of the ETC OBE, it can check illegal passing by video images. |
