• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 空飛ぶ円盤については，目撃証言もあれば，写真も撮影されている．しかしながら，空飛ぶ円盤は，通常，サイエンスフィクション，オカルト，疑似科学の類いに分類される．そこで，筆者は円盤型航空機について文献を調査し，事実を確認した．そうすると，円盤型航空機について，米国国立公文書館が軍事機密を解除し，国立米国空軍博物館に展示され，米国特許が取得されていた．更に，円盤型航空機は，流体力学などの物理法則に違反しないことが判明した．即ち，空飛ぶ円盤の存在は永年に渡って，多くの国家で防衛秘密に指定されていると推察される．更に，書籍，テレビ，映画などマスメディアを通じて，空飛ぶ円盤に関する誤情報又は偽情報を流布することにより，認知バイアスを誘発し，空飛ぶ円盤の存在という真実を糊塗するとともに，防衛秘密の維持に大成功した．知的財産法という観点からは，この調査は特許文献に技術的価値があることを示す．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Flying saucers have been reported by eyewitnesses and photographs. However, the flying saucers are usually categorized as science fiction, occult or pseudoscience. In view of the foregoing, the author has searched documents on the flying saucers to clarify the facts. It was found that the National Archives of the United States declassified a secret military project of the flying saucers, that the National Museum of the US Air Force displays the flying saucers and that U.S. patents have been issued for the flying saucers, which are consistent with the laws of physics such as fluid dynamics. Presumably, the existence of the flying saucers has been designated as defense secret by many countries for decades. Furthermore, spreading misinformation and disinformation about flying saucers through mass media such as books, TV and movies allow to induce a cognitive bias to have success in cover up the truth of the existence of the flying saucers. From the viewpoint of intellectual property law, this study shows that patents are valuable as engineering and technical documents.
