• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本研究では，生物の鳴き声を用いた楽器の制作を通じて，ザックス・ホルンボステルらに代表される発音体に基づく楽器の分類のあり方を検討する．この制作の背景には，音楽家デイヴィッド・トゥープの著作『フラッター・エコー音の中に生きる』に記述されている，蜂の羽ばたいた時に起こる空気の流れから音を発生させる楽器 wasp flute がある．研究内では，セミの鳴き声を加工した竹を通すことで微小に変化させる Cicada flute，並びに，同期現象というカエルの特性を活かし意図的にカエルの合唱を生むことを試みた (ribbit) ribbit ribbit という 2 つの楽器を製作した．考察では，制作した 2 つの楽器を既存の楽器と比較検討することで，楽器の原初的な発生要素を抽出し，その要素に基づいた楽器の分類法を検討する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This study examines the classification of musical instruments based on sonorophones as represented by Sachs Hornbostel et al. through the production of instruments using the sounds of living creatures. The background of this work is the wasp flute, an instrument that generates sound from the airflow caused by the flapping of bees' wings, as described in the book "Flutter Echo : Living in Sound" by the musician David Toop. In this study, we produced two instruments : the《cicada flute》, which changes the sound of cicadas into minute sounds by passing them through processed bamboo, and the《(ribbit) ribbit ribbit》, which intentionally generates a chorus of frogs by taking advantage of the frog's characteristic of synchronization (ribbit). In the discussion, by comparing the two instruments with existing instruments, we extract the primordial generating elements of the instruments, and examine the classification of the instruments based on these elements.
