However, there is a problem that bright stray light confuses mid-air images and interferes with the user’s experience if dual Slit Mirror Arrays (dual SMAs), which are one of the devices of forming mid-air images, are used as a table’s surface and display mid-air images in four directions around them. This paper proposes an optical system that displays dual-sided mid-air images to each of four users with less stray light by placing polarizers and view control films (VCFs). We examined the films to be used in our system by showing how stray light is suppressed.
