The basic concept of PRIME is to provide a common vehicle for individual developers, on which we can seamlessly ride along with software processes. Modeling the software development activities from the process, product and project points of view created a three-tier client/server architecture of PRIME. Practice of the PRIME in the development of a family of large-scale communications software is discussed.
