My current major is cultural anthropology, and in my undergraduate thesis, I used Twitter API and JavaScript for scraping to automatically collect all recent posts from Twitter by a specific number of accounts, as well as replies and quoted retweets to those posts. However, I did not use advanced techniques such as morphological analysis but read the collected text and treated it as narrative data.
