内容記述 Industry 4.0 promotes the digitalization of the current manufacturing system by converging it with information technologies. Production processes are mainly dependent on PLC, but they are less compatible with the latest IT technologies, which can solve the challenges of automation systems. We have implemented the method to control manufacturing processes via the combined operation of edge devices and Visual Programming Platform, Node-RED. We have created a custom node in Node-RED named Remote I/O to enhance the production process. This paper shows that the Remote I/O node in Node-RED with the edge device can fulfill the required performance in the production process.
