However, workflows between organizations are still processed manually based on paper documents because it is difficult for the organizations to trust the process and the data in the system owned by one of the organizations. In this paper, an implementation method of workflow execution engine for cross organizational workflow is proposed using smart contract on blockchain. It secures the data consistency among organizations throughout the workflow lifecycle by verifying the consistency of all the related data among nodes in every step of workflow.
