仮想現実や拡張現実（VR / AR）の様々な用途で，文字入力は欠かせない．我々は，ヘッドマウントディスプレイ（HMD）の左右に分割キーボードを搭載した効率的な文字入力方法，HMK を提案する．キーボードが見えない状況での使用を考慮し，ホームポジションに素早く手を配置できるよう，カスタムキートップを使用する．具体的には，ホームポジションに相当するキートップを凹ませ，さらにキー配置の修正を行う．本稿では HMK の評価およびキートップ改良による効果について報告する． |

Text input is essential in a variety of uses in virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR). We present HMK: an effective text input method that mounts split keyboards on the left and right side of the head mounted display (HMD). We developed custom keycaps to make it easier to find the home position without seeing the keyboard. The custom keycaps are shaped to curve into the home position keys. We also revised the layout of the keyboard. This paper shows the evaluation results of the usability of HMK and the effectiveness of the custom keycaps. |
