Universities and vocational schools in the Tokyo metropolitan area have opened new departments and started education. However, there is no department specializing in data scientist education at local vocational schools. In regional cities, the importance of data scientists is neglected and their recognition as a profession is low, resulting in early retirements due to mismatches even when they are hired.
