KANVAS (Knowledge base system in wide Area Networks with Versatility, Availability, and Scalability) とネットワークオントロジ Bonsai の研究・開発を進めている．KANVAS は様々なネットワーク情報を収集し，その情報を Bonsai に基づいて構造化して蓄積，蓄積した知識をユーザに提供することによりネットワーク管理やアプリケーションに役立てる．本稿では，KANVAS と Bonsai を利用した障害原因特定手法の提案とKANVAS システムをアプリケーションが利用するための API の設計・実装について紹介する．評価として実際に機器を停止させ，現実的な時間内で停止させた機器を特定できることが分かった．","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"We have been researching and developing KANVAS (Knowledge base system in wide Area Networks with Versatility, Availability, and Scalability), a framework for collecting and utilizing network information, and Bonsai, a network ontology. KANVAS collects various network information, structures and stores the information based on Bonsai, and provides the accumulated knowledge to users for network management and applications. In this paper, we propose a method for identifying the causes of failures using KANVAS and Bonsai, and introduce the design and implementation of an API for applications to use the KANVAS system.
