To solve the problem, we propose a system called “PartsSweeper”, which aims to casually move and organize tools and parts on a desk. The system mainly consists of a XY plotter installed behind the desk, a permanent magnet and a lifting mechanism in the head, and a tablet computer for inputting the work space. The system aims to move and organize tools and parts separately without special sensing. In this paper, we propose concepts and develop a prototype and applications.
