Opportunities to use communication tools to improve productivity have been slowly increasing. Their use has accelerated rapidly with the global spread of the COVID-19 infection since the beginning of 2020. However, there are some challenges in the introduction and use of communication tools in business. In this report, we investigate the acceleration of telework and changes in communication tools required by the COVID-19 outbreak by surveying the status of telework implementation in companies and identifying problems. We examine the issues that can arise from the careless use of various communication tools that are currently in use.
