An omnidirectional image captured in the passenger seat of a moving vehicle is converted into an equirectangular image. A virtual environment, specifically a spherical computer graphics (CG) model placed in a virtual space, is constructed in a computer, and the equirectangular image is mapped on to it. We attempt to change passenger's impression by superimposing a CG object depicting the vehicle's direction generated using vehicle information recorded along with the image recording.
