In August 2020, in response to this trend, the TEI P5 Guidelines version 4.1.0 added a <standOff> element containing model.standOffPart. In this paper, we examine this method of distributing Linked Data in a way that allows it to coexist with the body of the source text, using as a case study Shinran's Gutokushō (13th Century), a text in which the concepts of Buddhist thought are organized.
