However, no studies have been conducted to evaluate the frequency limit of the acquirable optical signal. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate the time-frequency limit of the optical signal that can be acquired by using the rolling shutter effect of the camera sensor. Specifically, we try to recover the voice data superimposed on the light using a smartphone with a rolling shutter.
