the temperature measurement carried out in the quasi-public space as an infection prevention measure due to the new coronavirus disease, issues from the viewpoint of privacy and personal information protection are discussed. In recent years, body temperature sensing devices with various sizes and characteristics have been installed in quasi-public spaces. However, since body temperature sensing devices have rapidly become widespread in the general public with the expansion of COVID-19, it is hard to say that on-site operational rules regarding privacy and personal information protection have been concretely established. Therefore, we first discuss the points to be noted from the viewpoint of privacy and personal information protection, and classify the body temperature measurement sensing methods used in the real world.
