In addition to the functions of Tetra, XTetra has standard input from the console, drawing functions, and syntax highlighting for the editor. In a high school, we conducted classes using XTetra in a class with experience using Scratch and in a class with little experience using Scratch, and evaluated the execution environment using a questionnaire. As a result, the understanding level of the class with Scratch experience was higher than that of the class with no experience.
