the problem of data oligopoly by IT giants and the growing awareness of privacy, there is an urgent need to develop an environment that balances the safety and security of individuals with the use of personal data. As one of the use cases of personal data, we focus on the TV viewing data that indicates “when and what kind of TV program was watched”. We develop a system that allows viewers to acquire and manage TV viewing data by linking smartphones and TVs using Hybridcast. In addition, we conduct an evaluation experiment of the developed system for actual cable TV subscribers, and clarify the effectiveness of the system and the possibility of utilizing the TV viewing data.
