This will increase the workload of homeroom teachers and increase the gap in the teaching environment between small schools on remote islands and large schools in urban areas. In addition, the government has announced a policy to distribute a tablet device to each elementary school student from the fiscal year 2020. Therefore, the authors are developing an English conversation AI system for elementary school students using tablet devices.
