2020 年度から全ての小学校において，5・6 年生において英語が教科化された．それに伴い担任教員の負担が増加することや，離島の小規模校と都市部の大規模校との指導環境格差の増加などといった課題が挙げられている．また，2020 年度より小学生 1 人 1 台にタブレット端末を配布するという政府方針が発表された．そこで著者らはタブレット端末で行う小学生のための英会話 AI の開発を行なっている．本論文では，本システムのシステム需要とユーザビリティに関する評価を示す． |

IEICE From the 2020 school year, English will become a subject in the fifth and sixth grades in all elementary schools. This will increase the workload of homeroom teachers and increase the gap in the teaching environment between small schools on remote islands and large schools in urban areas. In addition, the government has announced a policy to distribute a tablet device to each elementary school student from the fiscal year 2020. Therefore, the authors are developing an English conversation AI system for elementary school students using tablet devices. In this paper, we present an evaluation of the system demand and usability of this system. |
