In this study, we investigate a way to achieve both quietness and speech privacy by playing background music throughout the shelter and canceling that background music near the disaster victims. As a method, a signal to cancel the music signal is embedded in the high frequency range above 20 kHz of the background music, and the receiver extracts the embedded signal and performs active noise control to reduce the level of the surrounding music signal.
