Hence many researchers try to eliminate one of parents’ major anxieties, which is caused by unclear reasons why their baby cries. Existing research almost uses the sound of cries, but it might be highly affected by external noises. In this paper, we propose the system to obtain the data of a baby’s states using a baby bed device. By utilizing data other than the sound, such as the baby’s weight and the center of gravity on the bed, we try to improve accuracy of cry detection and identification the reasons of cries.
