e2-MaskZ を開発してきた.e2-MaskZ は,マスク裏側に搭載された 40 個の組込型光センサアレイによって表情を認識し,ユーザの表情をアバタの表情に反映し,軽量薄型有機 EL ディスプレイに表示できるデジタルな仮面である.しかし,既存の e2-MaskZ の 10 種類の表情における平均認識正答率は 79 %で,改善の余地がある.また,光センサが正しく機能するためには,光センサと顔面に一定の距離が必要であるが,例えば,顔が大きい人はセンサに顔が当たってしまうなど,筐体の汎用性に限界があった.そこで本研究では,e2-MaskZ における表情認識機能の向上を目的とする.具体的には,表情認識精度を高めるために CatBoost による勾配ブースティングとデータ拡張を組み合わせた手法を提案する.また,各光センサの角度を変更できるようなヒンジ,マスク全体と顔面の距離を微調整可能なヒンジを導入することで,筐体の汎用性を高める.提案する e2-MaskZ
