7 割を占めている．中山間地域では人口流出や少子高齢化などにより集落は小規模化が進み，そういった地域における住民の生活を守り，地域産業や健康の振興を図っていくためには，地域の生活インフラ，特に道路や建物といった生活インフラを必要十分なレベルで維持していくことが不可欠である．本取組では，中山間地域の住民が平常時に生活の足として利用する定路線交通やデマンド交通をエッジコンピューティング資源として活用することで，交通インフラに関するデータを効果的に収集及び分析可能な基盤を構築する．小型の計算機ならびに動画像カメラおよび LiDAR センサをこれらの交通機関に搭載し，中山間地域の路面や路肩を計測し，動画像処理および点群データ処理をリアルタイムで分析することにより，落石や路肩損傷，小規模ながけ崩れなど，交通インフラの異常を検出するエッジコンピューティング基盤と，収集したセンシングデータを Delay Tolerant Network を介して，クラウドサーバに集約可能なマルチネットワークシステムを構築した．また，高知県香南市において，交通インフラを 13 日間計測する実証実験を行い，動画像データとして 775 GB，点群データとして 90
