• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: Web コンテンツでは，背景色を白，文字色を黒とし，重要な箇所の文字色を赤にすることで強調する場合が多い．しかし，このような配色では，色弱者は本文中に含まれる赤文字を見つけることが難しいとされる．本稿では，著者らは先行研究において実装した JavaScript Bookmarklet による赤文字装飾機構に複数種類の装飾スタイルを追加し，先行研究との比較検討を行っている．評価実験の結果，今回新たに追加した装飾である「背景色の付加」と「白抜き文字」の両方において，従来の装飾である「波線の付加」よりも誘目性向上の効果があることを明らかにした．また，この手法が最新の OS および主要 Web ブラウザで動作し，色弱者が文書中の赤文字部分を一般色覚者と遜色なく認識できるようにする効果があると結論づけている．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The important keywords or sentences on web pages are commonly colored to red. This typical highlighting is based on the “attractiveness” of red. However, color-weakness persons cannot locate red keywords on the page well. The authors developed a mechanism that adds decoration to red words by using JavaScript Bookmarklet. In this paper, they made two bookmarklets each with a different decorative style, and they evaluated the bookmarklet's effectiveness in reducing the time it takes to find red word. As a result, the method worked on most of popular web browsers well. The authors concluded that color-weakness persons with protanope can find red words on the web page easily by using 'outline' or 'background-color' decorative.
