1 つである PDR(*1)は,歩行距離が長くなるにつれて計測誤差が大きくなるため,マップマッチングによる位置補正と組み合わせて適用することが一般的である.しかし,通路幅の狭いオフィスビルではマップマッチングによる位置補正を行っても,近未来で壁との衝突が発生する補正結果が採用されると,計測誤差が増大する課題があった.本課題を解決するため,本稿では,オフィスビル向けに改良した PDR を提案する.提案手法は,従来手法である PDR で推定した歩行軌跡を屋内で滞在可能な場所に補正するマップマッチングに対し,近未来の歩行軌跡を予測して評価する改良を追加した.本改良により,近未来に壁と衝突すると予測される歩行軌跡へ補正されることを抑制し,推定精度向上を図る.評価は,オフィスビルにおける直進及び曲進を交えた約 24m を歩行した時の推定位置と正解位置との間の距離(=誤差)を計測した.そして,(1)ゴール地点での誤差,(2)壁衝突発生後の歩行ルートでの誤差,を従来手法と提案手法で比較した.その結果,壁衝突の発生頻度は,従来手法で平均 1.76 回,提案手法で平均 1.40 回となり,減少効果を確認した.また,(1)ゴール地点での平均誤差は,従来手法が 1.02m,提案手法が 0.97mとなり,位置推定の精度向上を確認した.さらに,(2)壁衝突発生後の歩行ルートでの平均誤差は,提案手法の位置推定の精度が従来手法に比べて約 0.3m
