F. Oberlin University has been providing classes named “Computer literacy I” to teach basic knowledge and skills of information science. Every year, each new student in Machida campus of the university registers one of the classes as a compulsory subject. To support individual learning and training of the students, the university employs special staff. Each of the staff is called “Teaching Supporter” or TS. Because of COVID-19, the class and TSs’ supports had been provided online in the first semester of 2020. In this manuscript, I presented some results of considerations on roles of the TSs in the online classes. Some answers of the TSs on the author’s questionnaire were shown for discussions on the manuscript.
