In 2019, CODH also released KuroNet Kuzushiji Recognition service after Kaggle Kuzushiji Recognition competition. In this paper, we talk about the benefit of using object detection algorithm for Kuzushiji recognition. We also explain about the development of KuroNet, Kuzushiji recognition system and the online Kuzushiji recognition service.
