• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 我が国における初等中等教育，特に小学校中学校段階のこれまでのICT活用の実践研究や実証事業をふまえて，最近の学校教育の情報化に関連する国の制度化や予算化がどのように展開してきたのかを振り返り，今後の課題を探ることを目的とした．とくに，新たな動きである「GIGA（Global and Innovation Gateway for All）スクール構想」に至る背景とその内容について述べた．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In this paper, the author described the history of research and demonstration projects on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in primary and secondary education in Japan, especially at the elementary and junior high school level. The recent trends of national system and budgeting related to educational use of ICT in Japan were also examined. Particularly, the background and content of the new movement, the “GIGA (Global and Innovation Gateway for All) School Project,” were described.
