• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 通信網の高度化にともない、網を管理するオペレーションシステムも、個別管理から各システムが協調して網を管理する方式へと変化しつつあるが、このような協調管理を行なうためには、システム間での情報のやり取り （情報流通） が必要である。この情報流通を容易に行なうため、管理の対象となっている通信網の情報の体系化や、情報流通を管理するためのシステムに関する検討が行なわれている。本稿では、通信網情報を管理するシステムにおいて、網管理情報を蓄積する手段にオブジェクト指向データベースを用いた場合の適用可能性について述べる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: For an advanced telecommunication network, telecommunication network management systems need to co-operate with each other. For co-operation of multiple telecommunication network management systems, much amount of information exchange as well as rapid information processing are necessary for these systems. To ease the transfer and processing of management information, the telecommunication network management model and the information transfer mechanism has been studied. This paper assesses the advantages of the application of object-oriented-database-management-system to the databases of information transfer mechanism and telecommunication network management systems. Response times and application program features, e.g. program structure, number of steps, etc., are evaluated when these databases are used for the experimental network information management system.
